Alexandra Kolev

Alexandra supports BSR’s Collaborative Initiatives portfolio, facilitating the development and implementation of impactful multi-stakeholder solutions that tackle systemic challenges to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including climate change, economic inequity, and gender inequality. She works across industries, largely within agricultural commodities and consumer products, to drive collective action for supply chain sustainability, responsible sourcing, and ethical trade.

Prior to joining BSR, Alexandra developed global partnerships to foster business transformation, promote responsible business conduct, and scale business action to accelerate progress on the SDGs. Alexandra began her career analyzing trade policy and coordinating international trade and supply chain projects for a global, multi-sector clientele.

Alexandra holds a Master’s in International Public Management, with specializations in Global Economic Policy and Diplomacy, from l’Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in International Affairs and French from the George Washington University. She speaks English, French, and German.

Taylor Hannegan

Preview

Taylor supports BSR member companies across industries with a primary focus on human rights and sustainability management.

Prior to joining BSR, Taylor worked as an associate attorney for a boutique firm in Denver, dealing primarily with international trade issues. He also worked for The Code, an NGO based in Thailand, where he worked with tourism companies around the world to prevent sexual exploitation of children. Additionally, he is a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project.

Taylor holds a J.D. with a certificate in International Law from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, as well as certificates in Public and Private International Law from The Hague Academy of International Law and a B.A. in Political Science from St. Olaf College.

Victoria Woolner

Victoria is a part of BSR’s nature team, where she helps companies understand their impacts and risks related to Nature and develop ambitious strategies and solutions to mitigate their impacts. She supports this work across various industries, including consumer products and food, beverage, and agriculture.  

Prior to joining BSR, Victoria worked at the World Cocoa Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works with companies and stakeholders throughout the cocoa supply chain to collaborate and promote a sustainable cocoa sector. While there, she managed industry sustainability initiatives that focused on engaging companies around shared targets for smallholder cocoa farmers in West Africa and Brazil to improve farmer livelihoods, empower communities, and protect the environment.

During her undergraduate studies, Victoria participated in a sustainable development direct research program in Costa Rica with the School for Field Studies. She holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Saint Michael’s College, with minors in Sociology and History.

Ashley Lin

Preview

Ashley serves as a manager on BSR’s Inclusive Business team.

She drives partnerships and collaborative engagements with philanthropic organizations including foundations and nonprofits to harness business influence to achieve a more just and sustainable world, with a focus on advancing gender equity. She also supports businesses in building inclusive organizations and navigating emerging trends/flashpoints through direct engagement.

Ashley also supports BSR’s industry teams with sustainability management, particularly in the food, beverage, and agriculture sectors.

Prior to joining BSR, Ashley worked primarily in agriculture and distribution, food service management and hospitality, where she developed programs creating sustainable food systems and addressed food insecurity and basic needs access.

Ashley holds a M.P.S. in Sustainable Development and a B.S. in Environmental Law and Policy from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in association with Syracuse University, along with a Certificate of Advanced Studies of Sustainable Enterprise from Syracuse University.

Christine Diamente

Christine leads BSR’s Business Transformation team, helping companies to manage sustainability throughout their business and across their supply chains and to develop resilient business strategies that leverage insights from BSR’s Sustainable Futures Lab.

She works with companies across sectors and geographies to structure a sustainability management approach that mitigates risk and captures emerging opportunities, creating strategic advantage for their businesses, while contributing to a more just, sustainable world. Christine also co-leads engagement with boards of directors to promote effective board governance and leadership ambition on sustainability. 

She brings over 20 years of experience in leading brand, sustainability, public affairs, communications, and reputation management with multinational corporations at the executive leadership level. This also includes overseeing corporate relations with external stakeholders, such as the World Economic Forum, the UN, European institutions, and investors.

Previously, Christine was Head of Brand Strategy at Nokia. She has also held major roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Alcatel, leading Brand and Corporate Sustainability and European Affairs. Christine has also served on various boards, including as a chair of the Telecoms Industry Dialogue on human rights, as an advisory board member of Reuters Events Sustainability, as a member of the Alcatel-Lucent Foundation, and on the European Internet Foundation.

Christine holds a MA in History and a BA in History and International Politics from the University of Ottawa. She completed the Management Acceleration Program (MAP) at INSEAD, and she achieved the ESG Competent Boards Certificate and Global Competent Boards Designation (2021). She speaks English, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Lale Tekişalp

Preview

Lale focuses on the intersection of human rights and technology, helping companies integrate human rights considerations into their technology products, services, and broader business operations. She specializes in responsible AI, end-use risks of tech products and services, and online platform risks. 

Lale leads BSR's Tech Against Trafficking collaboration, which brings together some of the largest tech companies in the world to advance the use of technology to fight human trafficking and modern slavery, and to address human trafficking on online platforms and in global supply chains. Lale also leads BSR’s new multi-company working group focused on Labor Rights in the AI Data Supply Chain, which aims to promote labor rights for data enrichment workers preparing datasets and training algorithms that form the basis of AI.

Prior to BSR, Lale worked at Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise division, where she played a key role in establishing the company's cloud business across Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. She also worked with the Partnership on AI to help build its AI for Social Good strategy. ​

Lale holds an MBA from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, where she focused on responsible business practices. She received a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.

Ricki Berkenfeld

Ricki supports BSR’s work on collaborations, with a focus on those related to supply chain sustainability. Her engagements focus on opportunities to scale impact on supply chains through shared learning, common approaches, and coordinated action.

Ricki has extensive experience managing and overseeing BSR’s collaborations on sustainable sourcing of commodities, with a particular focus on consumer sectors industries and agriculture-based supply chains.

She also brings many years of strategy consulting experience, with strong ability to design and execute research, draw business insights, and develop corporate strategies.

Ricki holds a BS in Development Sociology from Cornell University.

Alice Pease

Preview

Alice works with members across sectors to advance human rights through cross-industry and multi-stakeholder collaboration. She manages several collaborative initiatives, including Building Responsibly, the Global Business Coalition against Human Trafficking (GBCAT), and the Healthcare and Human Rights Forum.

At BSR, Alice has supported members in designing and implementing human rights governance, strategy, and due diligence, with a particular focus on anti-trafficking.

Prior to joining BSR, Alice managed a campaign at the British Parliament on an initiative to strengthen the supply chain transparency requirements of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. Previously, she had policy and research roles with a human rights focus at the Argentine Council for International Relations, the European Commission, and the Italian National Research Council. Alice is the co-author of Crime and Global Justice: The Dynamics of International Punishment, published by Polity in 2018.

Alice holds an MA in International Relations: Latin America—Europe from the University of Bologna and an MA in History and Spanish from the University of Edinburgh. She speaks English, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Elisa Pinto de Magalhães

Elisa works with companies across sectors on sustainability management, human rights, and developing sustainable supply chains, among other topics.

Her areas of expertise include leading site-level Human Rights Impact Assessments, stakeholder and community engagement, conflict-affected and high-risk areas, and gender. Elisa works with BSR’s global member network, and those in Latin and South America in particular.  

Prior to joining BSR, Elisa worked as liaison to the United Nations on sexual and reproductive health and rights and gender issues. She has worked extensively in Latin America and the Caribbean on improving policy and supporting social movements to advance gender equality at national and regional levels. Elisa has also managed projects in East Africa on improving the supply chain for contraceptives.

Elisa holds a first-class honors MA in Gender, Society, and Representation from the University College of London and a BA in Economics and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Tufts University. Elisa is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Laura Macias

Preview

Laura leads RISE's Women’s Advancement and Leadership Program. She also leads the Data, Evidence, and Learning strategy globally and the implementation of RISE in India and Latin America.

At BSR, she worked on Keeping Workers in the Loop, where industry leaders collaborated on exploring the just transition to a circular fashion model, and she advised companies across the globe on equity, inclusion, and justice strategies, with a focus on supply chains. 

Prior to joining BSR, Laura researched the relationship between innovation, artificial intelligence, and diversity as part of the OECD Observatory of Public Sector Innovation. She also worked at UNICEF in corporate partnerships and fundraising. 

Laura writes about equity-related topics as a columnist, and she speaks Spanish, English, and French. She has an MPA degree from Sciences Po, and she completed a fellowship in public leadership at the Universidad de Los Andes.
