Center for Redefining Business Models

As businesses navigate an increasingly turbulent and uncertain landscape, rethinking traditional business models is critical for mitigating risk, maintaining competitiveness, and achieving long-term success within planetary boundaries. However, many of these alternative business models are under-developed and perceived as undesirable.

Established by BSR and Forum for the Future, The Center for Redefining Business Models is designed to help companies identify which new and alternative business models are working, which are not, and why results vary across markets, with the goal of developing their own viable solution.

Key Benefits

The Center is a safe space for peer sharing and action, focused on providing practical tools and examples for companies to advance new desirable business models (such as circular or regenerative models) that align business and sustainability goals within planetary boundaries.

Under Chatham House Rule, participants will be able to share perspectives on the opportunities and challenges of redefining models and strategize on how to create the enabling context for these new business models to thrive. Meetings are facilitated jointly by BSR and Forum for the Future.

BSR Members only.

Participants can opt to join as a member of the Advisory Committee or as a member of the collaboration, with different cost implications. MEOs cannot be applied.
