8 - 9 am PDT
In this webinar, Eric Olson, Senior Vice President at BSR, and Anne Kelly, Senior Program Director of Public Policy at Ceres, will present new developments in U.S. federal policy on climate and energy with an analysis of how they will impact emissions standards, efficiency standards, the availability of renewables, and the standing of the United States and American corporations internationally.
Tony Calandro, Social Impact Chair at Povaddo, will also join us to explore new findings from a Povaddo survey that examined employees from Fortune 1000 companies and their expectations of their CEOs and companies to be more vocal in support of social issues, concentrating on some surprising data on specific environmental issues. We will touch on the ways in which companies can develop strategies to engage employees who want to help build support for these issues.
We will further discuss the need—and the opportunity—for companies to demonstrate leadership and ambition on climate by setting and implementing robust climate strategies. By showing that climate action sits at the core of business priorities, we will chart new paths for business to leverage its voice in favor of climate policy.
