Aron is recognized globally as a preeminent authority on just and sustainable business. In addition to leading BSR, which has grown substantially throughout his tenure as President and CEO, Aron advises senior executives at BSR’s 300+ member companies and other global businesses and partners on the full spectrum of environmental, social, and governance issues.

Aron joined BSR in 1995 as the founding director of its Business and Human Rights program. He later opened BSR's Paris office in 2002, where he worked until becoming President and CEO in 2004. Aron has served on advisory boards to CEOs at AXA, Barrick Gold, Marks & Spencer, Nike, Recruit Holdings, SAP, Shell, and he serves as a director of the We Mean Business Coalition and RISE.

Aron speaks frequently at leading business and public fora and is widely quoted in top-tier media, such as the Financial Times, Le Figaro (France), The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Axios, and Politico. He is co-author of the book Sustainable Excellence: The Future of Business in a Fast-Changing World, which spotlights innovative sustainability strategies that enable business success.

Prior to joining BSR, Aron practiced law in San Francisco and worked as a journalist at ABC News in New York. He holds a BA from Tufts University and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley.

Giulio brings over 15 years of expertise in advancing corporate climate and nature work. A member of BSR’s leadership team, he leads the Climate & Nature team strategy and works with BSR members across advisory services, collaborative initiatives, and grants implementation.

Giulio oversees BSR’s work on the future of climate action in an evolving landscape​, the application of Futures and Foresight work to Climate & Nature topics, and new business models that create business value while advancing people and planet goals. Since joining BSR in 2018, he has focused on targets, strategies, and transition plans; climate risk and adaptation; value chains, including Scope 3 implementation through supplier engagement; business model transformation; and nature-based solutions strategies with social integrity.

He brings deep knowledge of the climate and nature ecosystem and landscape, having supported the development of the first SBTi Net Zero Standard as a member of the Expert Advisory Group. He also led and supported the development of widely used open-source guidance, such as the 1.5°C Supplier Engagement Guide, Transform to Net Zero, and Climate Fit.

Prior to joining BSR, Giulio spent seven years with EcoAct between France and Kenya, focusing on climate advisory work on GHG mitigation, target setting and climate strategies, climate risk assessments, and carbon offset project development.

Giulio holds an MS in Sustainability from HEC Paris School of Management. He also holds a double degree MS in Management and Industrial Engineering and a double degree BS in Technology and International Business from Politecnico di Torino and UIC Barcelona.

Laura is a Director on BSR's Climate and Nature team, helping global companies develop integrated environmental strategies that strengthen business resilience and create long-term value. She advises companies across industries on assessing and managing climate- and nature-related risks and opportunities, with a focus on translating sustainability commitments into business strategy, governance, and implementation across global value chains.

Over her eight years at BSR, Laura has partnered with multinational companies on a broad range of sustainability topics, including climate and nature strategy, risk assessments, supply chain engagement, biodiversity, and the intersection of environmental sustainability with emerging issues such as artificial intelligence. She also works closely with companies to navigate evolving sustainability frameworks and regulations, helping embed environmental considerations into business decision-making and risk management.

Before joining BSR, Laura worked at the Rainforest Alliance supporting companies in integrating nature-based approaches into agricultural supply chains, and previously held roles in brand management and marketing within the beauty industry.

Laura holds a Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University.

Eileen helps businesses understand how climate change affects operations, global supply chains, communities, and economies. She translates interconnected risks into practical strategies, investments, and partnerships that build long-term value creation and resilience.

Eileen’s expertise spans climate risk and scenario analysis, climate adaptation and business continuity planning, decarbonization, transition planning, and disclosure aligned with global frameworks. A central focus of Eileen’s work is understanding complex and cascading climate risks—how climate impacts interact with infrastructure dependencies, environmental pressures, market dynamics, and socioeconomic vulnerabilities. Her work connects climate action with governance, capital and resource allocation, operational and supply chain resilience, and measurable outcomes.  

As an experienced facilitator, Eileen brings together boards, executives, operational teams, governments, multilateral development banks, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to understand shared challenges, build alignment, and develop actionable solutions. She is also an experienced public speaker and writer, translating complex climate and sustainability issues into clear, decision-relevant insights for diverse audiences. 

Before joining BSR, Eileen was Vice President at Edelman, advising Fortune 500 companies on sustainability strategy, environmental performance, and communications. Earlier, at The Brookings Institution, she worked at the intersection of climate, global development, and economic policy. 

Eileen holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Connecticut.

Kelly is a Relationship Lead and sustainability advisor who partners with many of BSR's largest U.S.-based technology companies to help them maximize the value of their BSR membership and navigate the evolving sustainability landscape. She works with global technology leaders—from cloud, software, hardware, semiconductors, consumer technology, and digital infrastructure companies to high-growth innovators—to advance ambitious, resilient, and practical sustainability strategies.

Through BSR's Business Transformation advisory services, Kelly helps companies identify and prioritize their most material sustainability issues, conduct materiality and double materiality assessments, develop sustainability strategies, establish governance and targets, strengthen sustainability reporting, and engage stakeholders. She supports companies in embedding sustainability into business strategy while responding to evolving regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

Kelly brings deep expertise at the intersection of technology, energy, and sustainability. Since joining BSR in 2015, she has worked closely with the data center industry on renewable energy procurement, sustainability strategy, and collaborative approaches to addressing the environmental and social impacts of digital infrastructure. Kelly managed BSR's Future of Internet Power initiative to help accelerate renewable energy adoption across the technology sector, which subsequently led to co-founding the Renewable Energy Buyers' Alliance (now the Corporate Energy Buyers Association). She has contributed to numerous BSR publications on technology, renewable energy, corporate sustainability, and responsible business.

Prior to BSR, Kelly spent more than six years consulting on energy efficiency, sustainability, and renewable energy for California’s utilities and public-sector clients. She has also served as a Board Member for the US National Committee for UN Women, San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and Spark, a non-profit that seeks to advance gender equality by engaging the next generation in accessible forms of philanthropy.

Kelly holds an MA in International Relations from San Francisco State University and a BA in Global Studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Emma Giloth leads BSR's Living Wage practice. She works at the intersection of human rights; food, beverage, and agriculture; consumer marketing; and ethical supply chains.

Emma leads human rights impact and risk assessments, and guides companies on supply chain due diligence and responsible purchasing practices. As lead on BSR's Living Wage practice, she supports companies to activate and manage their Living Wage programs for their owned operations and to build strategies to ensure workers across their supply chains are paid sufficiently.

Prior to BSR, Emma worked in the consumer-packaged goods industry, where she specialized in ethical sourcing of climate-smart ingredients from farmers. A social entrepreneur at heart, she previously co-founded a sustainable natural products brand in Senegal, and continues to work as an advisor to several African brands.

Julie serves as Manager of BSR’s Climate team, where she brings over 10 years of experience in corporate sustainability and climate action and supports BSR members with their climate strategies.

After joining BSR in 2021, Julie worked on multiple projects helping companies implementing TCFD recommendations, conducting climate scenario analysis (for the tech, financial and insurance industry), accelerating Net Zero transition, implementing just transition approaches (extractive industry) and scope 3 strategies (consumer goods sector). Since 2023, Julie manages BSR grant-funded work dedicated to Climate Transition Plans.

Julie is also co-developing BSR’s work on alternative business models addressing the tension between business growth and sustainability targets.

Prior to joining BSR, Julie worked in Mazars’s sustainability services and risk practice, where she audited and advised companies on their ESG data and internal audit, control and risk approaches. During her time within Mazars, Julie also spent six months at the Mexico City office.

Julie holds a master’s degree in business from Kedge Business School and spent one semester at the University of Nottingham and another one at the University of Technology of Sydney. She speaks French, English, and Spanish.

Nina works with BSR member companies across industries on business transformation projects, such as double materiality, business strategy, and goal setting. She has expertise in stakeholder engagement and integrating sustainability across the value chain. Additionally, Nina works with members on climate topics, including climate scenarios, climate risk, TCFD, climate transition plans, and net zero decarbonization. 

Nina joined BSR in 2019 and has worked across all industries, with a specific focus on working with energy and industrials companies. 

Prior to joining BSR, Nina worked with a mission-driven consumer products company that makes menstrual products for women. There, she helped to create a long-term strategy to establish its leadership in sustainability, social impact, and health. In her early career, Nina worked at an environmental health advocacy firm in Maine and collaborated with industry leaders to remove harmful chemicals from food products. She also worked at a landscape architecture firm, promoting climate resilience through parks in New York City.

Nina holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from the Yale School of Public Health, and a BA in Environmental Policy from Colby College.

Jen serves as a director for BSR's Inclusive Business practice.

She is a strategy development and implementation expert at complex health and humanitarian organizations with 20+ years of experience. At BSR, she relaunched the Inclusive Business practice to meet the needs of companies navigating shifting regulation, policy, and litigation, alongside evolving business needs in the U.S. and around the globe.  

Prior to joining BSR, Jen directed investments at the Tara Health Foundation to advance gender and racial equity through the private sector, including historic progress on paid family and medical leave, reproductive health, and other workplace protections. Before working in philanthropy, she founded the corporate relations program at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She also managed the disaster fundraising team at the American Red Cross, coordinating large scale efforts to responsibly raise and deploy hundreds of millions of dollars. She is frequently cited in business press on flashpoint topics and is an advisor to Gauge.ai, the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute, and GoFundMe’s Compassion Leadership Network. 

Jen holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is based in the greater Boston area with her family, where she also plays cello in a community orchestra.
