BSR will host a members-only conversation with the IIRC’s new CEO Richard Howitt about the future priorities and direction of integrated reporting. This is the latest in a series of conversations that BSR is holding with leading reporting frameworks.
Richard joined the IIRC after 20 years as a member of the European Parliament, acting as architect of the EU’s non-financial information directive, one of the biggest transformations in corporate disclosure anywhere in the world. He has been rapporteur on corporate-reporting-related issues, including social responsibility, for many years.
His appointment comes at an important time for the IIRC and sustainability disclosures. The IIRC has launched a two-month comment period, starting on March 1, aimed at listening to and learning from the market. This period invites public feedback on critical incentives and barriers to applying the International Integrated Reporting (<IR>) Framework, especially by users and preparers of integrated reports and those who weave integrated reporting into policies and regulations.
Join us for a conversation with Richard about how the IIRC can bring about its vision of a future where sustainability is integrated to every organization’s decision-making process.
