#Supply Chain

Today’s supply chains face many challenges, from modern slavery to deforestation—to the point where, even if companies are motivated to make changes, they face a complex endeavor. Join BSR for a webinar to explore what these challenges are, why the urgency is increasing, and what opportunities await as we enter the Decisive Decade of the 2020s.

The webinar will introduce BSR’s new Supply Chain Director Thibault Gravier and dive into three key supply chain concepts that every company can leverage to reach their sustainability goals:

  • Transparency—In the 2020s, it will be fundamental to know your suppliers and understand the issues they face. We’ll discuss transparency solutions, such as supplier engagement and big data.
  • Reverse Sourcing: A New Responsible Business Model—In this Decade of Delivery for the SDGs, how can a change in sourcing practices help companies reach their targets? We’ll explore how reverse sourcing transforms commodity sourcing into specialty sourcing and learn from leading companies' success with this model.
  • Collaboration for Action—Through collaboration, companies can achieve their individual objectives to scale up and reach the target of 100 percent sustainable sourcing. We’ll look at examples of leading initiatives for lessons learned and highlight new BSR activities.

Speakers

  • Thibault Gravier, Director, BSR
  • Elisa Niemtzow, Vice President, Consumer Sectors and Global Membership, BSR
