Developing Robust Climate Transition Plans

As companies show heightened ambition in setting climate targets, Climate Transition Plans (CTPs) are turning into the key medium for companies to demonstrate how they intend to reach their targets and to disclose progress. However, the ecosystem of frameworks, sectoral guidance, and regulatory requirements is complex.

Building on key learnings from “Charting the Course: Navigating the Climate Transition Plan Landscape,” BSR has developed a series in a variety of event formats to support members in crafting and developing robust CTPs that meet stakeholder expectations. In the webinars, BSR experts and guest speakers address the importance of integrating people, nature, and adaptation into climate transition planning, and through the interactive learning labs, BSR and the World Benchmarking Alliance dismantle the transition plan elements of business model alignment, external factors, and financial planning, providing a space for participants to discuss challenges, opportunities, and next steps with peers. The series will close with an in-person event during Climate Week NYC, where we will take stock of the climate transition plan landscape and discuss CTP trends.
