Deep Dive Into the SBTi Net Zero Standard

The Science Based Targets Initiative launched the SBTi Net Zero standard at COP26, representing a significant step forward towards robust, science-based corporate action.

BSR members joined BSR and SBTi for an Introduction to the SBTi Net Zero Standard on Feb 24, which introduced the key concepts of the SBTi net zero framework, the development process and next steps in 2022. You can watch the recording here.

Meanwhile, the landscape of net zero continues to evolve fast, and different stakeholders, including the SBTi, are continuing work in 2022 to advance on contentious areas, such as Scope 3 or Beyond Value Chain Mitigation.

We invite BSR members to join us for a second session with the SBTi Net Zero team. This will be a deep dive on specific topics on the road to net zero. We will narrow down the conversation to two key topics, and provide an opportunity for BSR members to engage and input into SBTi’s 2022 developments.
