Bringing together senior leaders across sustainability, health, and business, this event, hosted by Climeworks in partnership with BSR, will explore opportunities at the intersection of climate action, carbon dioxide removal (CDR), and public health, focusing on tangible solutions and implementation. This roundtable will be held under Chatham House Rule, and the workshop will be divided into three discussions.
Themes for Breakout Discussions:
- Unlocking opportunities in healthcare supply chain decarbonization, with a focus on hard-to-abate emissions (including transportation, construction, and late-stage clinical trials) — Why leading companies are choosing to address unavoidable emissions now
- Health equity and carbon removal co-benefits — Identify clear health co-benefits and definition of impact behind CDR investments
- The business case for carbon removal leadership — Co-develop a CEO-ready one-pager on the total shareholder return of climate-health action
