BSR is exploring how companies can move beyond supply chain traceability of conflict minerals to support local development in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.

We conducted research and interviews with representatives from a range of companies, international aid and advocacy NGOs, local development NGOs, and government to better understand the greatest needs and opportunities. This report summarizes our findings and identifies various opportunities for companies to engage in development activities to support a stable region, local economy, and society.
