BSR Report 2010: ‘Redefining Leadership’

Today we are launching the BSR Report 2010, “Redefining Leadership,” which highlights our work over the past year helping global companies define and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies.

In addition to case studies from around the world—describing our work with companies such as Maersk Line, Best Buy, and Sumitomo Trust and Banking, and our approach to issues such as sustainable consumption and conflict minerals—this year’s Report outlines four dimensions of leadership that we believe are essential for sustainable business today: setting big targets, learning from “the margins,” investing in a diverse array of infrastructure, and focusing on long-term trends.

Our Report marks the beginning of what we hope will be an ongoing discussion about “Redefining Leadership,” a theme we will continue to explore at the BSR Conference 2011 and through other publications and events over the coming months.

And we want to hear from you: How would you redefine leadership for sustainable business? Shareyour thoughts at www.bsr.org/report.
