Paul leads BSR’s Industrials and Transport and Logistics practices, helping companies to align innovative sustainability practices with business strategy and operations. Paul works with leaders in the manufacturing, automotive, freight, and aviation industries to put sustainability strategy into action.

Paul has over 25 years of industry experience in engineering and sustainability leadership roles. He has deep experience in product development, greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction, sustainability reporting, and sustainability strategy. Previously, he founded an independent consultancy helping mid-size industrials get started on their sustainability journey.

Paul holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a MBA from Marquette University.

Philippe is a Director of Industrials and Transport and Logistics in the EMEA region. He focuses on the Transport sector, identifying strategic perspectives for BSR members and opportunities for collaborative initiatives. He also contributes to Business Transformation work, structuring a sustainability management approach that mitigates risk and captures emerging opportunities, creating positive impact for their businesses while contributing to a sustainable world.

He brings over 30 years of experience in energy-intensive industries, building and leading sustainability strategies, governance, ESG reporting, as well as communication and contribution to international standard-setting processes. Prior to BSR, he was Head of Sustainable Development at Airbus and Managing Director for both the cement and tires projects at the WBCSD. More recently, Philippe has worked as an independent consultant on sustainability, based in Switzerland.

Philippe holds an Aeronautical Engineer diploma from the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) Toulouse (France) and a Diploma of Advances Studies in Sustainable Management from the Haute Ecole de Gestion (HEG) Geneva (Switzerland). He speaks French, English and Spanish.

With deep experience as researcher and consultant, Ogi advises companies in Japan on a range of sustainability topics to promote business practices that are aligned with global and forward-looking perspectives. Within her sustainability management consulting work, she focuses on materiality analysis, sustainability strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.

Prior to joining BSR, Ogi worked for a research consultancy for 20 years. She focused on a wide range of environmental issue areas, including climate change, circular economy, disclosure, and communications to governments and the private sector.

She holds an M.A. in Policy Science from Doshisha University Graduate School of Policy and Management.

Adam works with BSR member companies across industries on sustainability management, including stakeholder engagement, materiality, strategy and reporting, among other topics.

Prior to BSR, Adam was a thematic expert on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the International Institute for Sustainable Development, focusing on the linkages between climate, development, business, and sustainable consumption and production. He previously worked on the SDGs team at World Resources Institute. During his graduate studies, Adam interned at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and was a Coca-Cola World Fund fellow with Conservation International, researching the strategic connections between the SDGs and corporate sustainability.

Adam holds a Master’s in Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, specializing in Business and the Environment. He has a BA in Environmental Studies and Government, with a concentration in International Politics, from Wesleyan University.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Eileen works with multinational companies to address climate change. She specializes in improving business strategy to consider how climate change and its solutions affect society, the environment, and the economy. 

Eileen directs BSR’s advisory and grant-funded work where climate intersects with human rights and equity, inclusion, and justice. She also supports companies with climate risk and scenario analysis, emissions reduction targets, and net-zero roadmaps. ​Eileen is BSR’s climate lead in the Asia-Pacific region, where she analyzed how climate change affects vulnerable nations, its people, and global supply chains. ​

Prior to joining BSR in 2017, Eileen served as a sustainability consultant, supporting companies on sustainability strategy development, strategic stakeholder engagement, and environmental management. While working at a public policy organization, she gained experience in international development, climate policy analysis, and effective communications. ​

Eileen holds a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. ​

Francesca brings more than 12 years of experience in human rights, sustainability management, and responsible supply chains to her work with companies in the infrastructure, financial services, and consumer products sectors. After spending her first years at BSR with the human rights team and successfully leading numerous engagements as Nordics lead in Copenhagen, Francesca is now based in New York City and leads our global membership team. 

Prior to joining BSR, Francesca worked at a global Danish retailer, where she was responsible for human rights programs at the corporate and local level. Francesca has also previously worked with the Danish Institute for Human Rights as well as Vestas and Maersk, where she was part of their sustainability teams and helped to establish social compliance systems and managed broader sustainability initiatives such as materiality, reporting, and ethics. She has done field work in East Africa, India, Myanmar, China, and South Korea.

Francesca holds a M.S. in Business and Development Studies from Copenhagen Business School and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from LUISS University Rome. She speaks Danish, English, and Italian.

Beth helps companies create a more just and sustainable world through cutting-edge sustainability management. Beth leads BSR’s strategy practice, helping companies understand performance, identify priorities, and design effective sustainability solutions that increase resilience and deliver value for business and society.

Beth is also an active member of BSR’s Sustainable Futures Lab and regularly advises companies on climate change. Beth has led engagements in all of BSR’s major industry groups, touching all of BSR’s focus areas.

Prior to joining BSR, Beth served as the director of sustainability for a packaging manufacturer, where she was responsible for corporate-wide sustainability strategy and implementation. Beth also worked as a consultant to the US Environmental Protection Agency, where she developed benefit-cost analyses of proposed federal regulation and supported industry partnership development.

Beth holds a MEM from the Yale School of the Environment and a BA in Economics from Colby College.

Nina works with BSR member companies across industries, on climate topics such as climate scenarios, TCFD, and decarbonization and net zero transformation.

Nina also works with companies across industries on developing robust sustainability strategies and conducting materiality assessments, among other topics.

Prior to joining BSR, Nina worked with a mission-driven consumer products company that makes menstrual products for women. There, she helped to create a long-term strategy to establish its leadership in sustainability, social impact, and health. In her early career, Nina worked at an environmental health advocacy firm in Maine and collaborated with industry leaders to remove harmful chemicals from food products. She also worked at a landscape architecture firm, promoting climate resilience through parks in New York City. 

Nina holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from the Yale School of Public Health, and a B.A. in Environmental Policy from Colby College.

Kayla collaborates with BSR member companies on projects centering on the corporate responsibility to respect human rights, focusing on companies within the consumer sectors industry cluster. Her areas of expertise include energy transition, anti-corruption, and gender.

Prior to joining BSR, Kayla spent several years advising multinational companies and investors on human rights as an Adviser at the Danish Institute for Human Rights, during which she also served as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Amsterdam, focusing on Business and Human Rights (BHR), international human rights, anti-corruption, and EU law. Previously, she worked on global anti-corruption investigations and cross-border white collar litigations as an Associate Attorney at the international law firm King & Spalding LLP, where she was the founding member of the firm's BHR initiative.

Kayla holds a JD and a Certificate in Global Human Rights from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, which included course work at the Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement, and a BA, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University.

With more than 14 years of experience in the field of sustainability, Roberta supports companies in translating social and human rights expectations into management practices. In particular, she focuses on supporting companies in the energy and utilities sectors in navigating regulatory trends as well as investor and other stakeholder expectations when it comes to human rights management. She is passionate about renewable energy and leads BSR's work in renewable energy and human rights.

She has experience with human rights due diligence and impact assessments, code of practice and policy development, sustainability strategy and integration, sustainability reporting, and materiality assessments.

Prior to joining BSR, Roberta spent six years with Enel, a multinational electric utilities company, as a CSR specialist. She managed projects across various countries, particularly in Latin America, focusing primarily on integrating sustainability into business operations and developing the company's human rights approach. 

Roberta holds a MA in Economics and CSR and a BA in Economics and Social Sciences from the University of Trento in Italy. An Italian native speaker, Roberta also speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently.
