By Invitation Only

Companies are developing, designing, and deploying AI across their operations, products, and services at varying levels of sophistication and scale, with potentially significant impacts on workers, customers, and communities. As AI adoption accelerates, investors are seeking greater insight into how its risks are identified and managed.

BSR, OECD, PRI, and United Nations Human Rights B-Tech invite investors, AI developers and deployers, and civil society to an exclusive, interactive workshop focused on advancing practical approaches to responsible AI and human rights due diligence.

The session will combine foundational guidance with practical, scenario-based discussion. Participants will:

  • Explore key frameworks: Receive a brief introduction to the investor guidance developed by UN Human Rights B-Tech, grounded in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible AI.
  • Apply the guidance to real-world challenges: Engage in interactive, small-group discussions to examine hypothetical AI use cases spanning product design, workforce automation, hiring, and customer-facing decisions.

Our discussion will address three key questions:

  • How can investors assess and address AI-related human rights risks?
  • How can investors support companies in their portfolio to prevent, mitigate, and remediate harm?
  • What is the role of civil society in supporting these efforts more broadly?

The session will be held under the Chatham House Rule. Seats are limited and will be allocated to maintain a balanced representation of companies, investors, and civil society organizations.
