Carolina works with BSR member companies across industries on sustainability management, human rights, and supply chain sustainability

Prior to BSR, Carolina worked in the research and policy space for organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union, International Organization for Migration, and the Solidarity Center. Past research project themes include supply chain traceability of cotton from India, the future of just transition for unionized workers, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the end of the Accord agreement on garment workers in Bangladesh, and the need for financial inclusion and assistance for artisanal and small-scale miners in Colombia. Carolina’s interest in this work stems from her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea, West Africa, where she focused on community economic development issues. 

She earned a MPP from the University of Michigan and a BS in Public Relations from the University of Florida. Carolina is a native English and Spanish speaker.
