Railsponsible is an industry initiative focused on sustainable procurement. It aims to continuously improve sustainability practices throughout the railway industry supply chain.

Railsponsible will host a Climate Workshop and Supplier Award event at Innotrans, Berlin, on 19 September 2018.

About the Climate Change Supplier Award

The members of Railsponsible support the agreement made during COP21 (the Paris Climate Summit 2016) and its goal of limiting the increase in global average temperature to well below 2°C. Members also support the renewed awareness within the business community that all economic sectors need to further strengthen their commitments and actions to address climate change.

Railsponsible members hope to show what good climate practice for the rail sector, including the rail supply chain, might look like. This year’s Railsponsible supplier award therefore focuses on Climate Change. The “Climate Change Supplier Award” will be presented at Innotrans.
