#Healthcare

Major companies in the United States are recognizing the role that they can play in improving health outcomes for both their employees and the broader population by promoting wellness and prevention.

Additionally, many stakeholders, including employees, government, community organizations, consumers, and investors, are also calling for increased action by business. This shift offers a significant opportunity, particularly for companies that adopt a CSR-based approach to improving population health. In our new report, supported by a grant by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, we explore these issues, including:

  • What are the broader challenges and opportunities that companies can address across the value chain?
  • How can companies use CSR activities, strategies, resources, and networks to address these challenges and opportunities?
  • Can population health be the next frontier of CSR?

Speakers

  • Katie Wehr, Program Officer, Public Health, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
  • Elisa Niemtzow, Vice President, Consumer Sectors and Global Membership, BSR
