You will act as a lead program manager supporting the development and execution of Kenneth Cole Productions CSR strategy. You will be responsible for strong collaboration with key business functions to identify and drive awareness and engagement with CSR programs throughout corporate functions. You will have primary responsibility for driving internal and external reporting of KCPS CSR program impacts and implementing training and awareness programs with key stakeholders.

HOW YOU WORK

General:

  • Act as key contributor to Kenneth Cole’s Corporate Citizenship strategy to drive KCP’s perrformance towards long term goals.
  • Identify and drive programs that leverage KCP’s sustainability performance; articulate and advance more sustainable practices working in collaboration with other business functions.
  • Manage projects from design to launch, liaising with multiple internal business functions, including Legal, Global Supply Chain, Marketing, Procurement, Store Communications, Store Operations and Corporate and Store Facilities, Field Leadership, and Merchandising teams.
  • Organize and prepare CSR Committee meetings including define action plans for various parts of the businesses, in alignment with Global CSR Framework
  • Present annual action plan to relevant business leaders \
  • Meet periodically with each CSR Committee member and their team to track and ensure implementation of annual action plans

Program Reporting & Analysis:

  • Define and deliver program management tools to manage the collection of project data from business partners.
  • Calculate impacts and cost savings from projects and provide analysis of results.
  • Review options for next-generation solutions for tracking and reporting of sustainability programs and make recommendations regarding viable solutions.
  • Drive program tracking and impact reporting for key programs.
  • Primary responsibility for program communications internally for associates in the Corporate Offices and the Field; maintain program information on company intranet updated.
  • Support external CSR reporting. Maintain for Good section on kennethcole.com, blog, public reporting and incorporate leading brand best practices.
  • Work with the Corporate & Store Facilities to promote energy conservation and waste minimization in stores and Home Offices.
  • Align with Marketing/social media teams to drive For Good program awareness.
  • Represent KCP’s interests with regards to corporate responsibility in trade organizations, working groups and forums.
  • Follow thought leadership and innovation on relevant CSR topics in US market (i.e. Attend conferences on behalf of CSR team)
  • Use benchmarking and research skills to proactively identify issues, risks and trends that can affect the brand. Provide analysis and make brand-appropriate recommendations.
  • Participate in key industry events to benchmark and track leading practices.
  • Track developments in environmental laws and regulations impacting the brand

Internal and External Communication:

HOW YOUR PAST WORKS FOR US (required)

  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Specialized training/educational focus of corporate responsibility issues and sustainability strategy is preferred
  • In-depth understanding of corporate responsibility and sustainability practices
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with internal and external contacts
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prepare reports and recommendations based on a high volume of data
  • Proven analytical skills; strong understanding of technology; problem-solver
  • Able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong internet research skills
  • Strong PowerPoint development skills
