Julia Robinson, Communications Associate, BSR

BSR will be on the road in June, attending a number of events and hosting a few of our own. We hope to see you there!

BSR and Rio+20

In the coming weeks, BSR will participate in key events for Rio+20, which will bring together the private and nonprofit sectors, academia, and governments to discuss the global sustainability agenda.

  • Alison Colwell, BSR Advisory Services Manager, will participate in a session on “Corporate Respect and Support for Human Rights” at the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum on June 16 at 9 a.m. in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
  • Also in Rio, BSR will host a meeting on its Future of Fuels initiative—and potential expansion of the initiative to South America—on June 19 at 11 a.m. BSR’s Future of Fuels helps global companies understand and improve the sustainability impacts of their transportation fuel systems. Keep an eye out for Joe Sellwood, BSR’s Director for South America, and Eric Olson, BSR’s Senior Vice President, who will speak at the event.
