This RISE trends workshop brings together global brands and financial inclusion experts, including Mastercard, to explore the latest research on women and men garment workers’ wages, financial behaviors, use of financial products, and ultimately their financial health and economic empowerment.
Participants will review data collected directly from garment workers through RISE’s Financial Health trainings, delivered in 213 workplaces across 8 countries reaching 382,000+ workers in addition to research on spending/saving patterns of women garment workers. The outcome will be a roadmap for business and global supply chains to fulfil women workers’ needs and rights.
