Published more than a year ago, the Recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), led by the G20 and Michael Bloomberg, urge companies to investigate and communicate the potential impact of climate change on their activities through 11 reporting elements relating to governance, strategy, risk management, and performance indicators and targets. While French companies have quickly mobilized to align their reporting with the recommendations of the TCFD, strategic and operational implementation still poses many challenges, particularly in the preparation of climate projections and their impacts, also known as "climate scenarios."
