Jason has more than 12 years' experience managing supply chain issues, and he works on several BSR initiatives, including the China Training Institute, SWITCH ASIA EEE project, Nokia Beijing Development Area stakeholder engagement, Professional Compliance Community, and South China Labor Dialogue with stakeholders. Jason leads in-factory improvement programs to help suppliers in China build systems at the factory level. He also helps BSR member companies develop management systems around standards from Social Accountability International, the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition, the International Council of Toy Industries, and the Business Social Compliance Initiative.
Prior to joining BSR, Jason focused on ethical trade and labor standards, visiting more than 1,000 factories to oversee field audits. While serving as General Manager at the CSR Alliance, a CSR training platform in Shenzhen, Jason built a successful staff of consultants and web designers, and created one of the best known CSR websites in China. He speaks English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Jason has a B.A. in International Trade and Economics from the North University of China.
