Tomorrow, the BSR Conference 2019 will kick off in San Jose, California. As we host our Conference in Silicon Valley for the first time, we’re thinking a lot about disruption—and not only in the typical “tech-speak” sense: As we’ve seen far too many times this year—most recently with the devastating wildfires in California—the climate crisis is impacting communities in very powerful ways; there is disquiet among society about the very nature of capitalism, including from prominent business leaders themselves; and employees are rising up, walking out, and demanding action from their companies to “walk the talk” when it comes to their values.

These are just some of the transformations creating a new climate for business. In this era of rapid change and disruption throughout nearly every facet of society, how can business help pave the way for people, planet, and companies to thrive? If business is to deliver on the promise of shared prosperity, we need to explore entirely new ways of thinking.

And that’s exactly what we’re setting out to do with the best minds in sustainability over the course of the next three days. We’ll hear from inspiring plenary speakers, host outcome-oriented sessions and workshops, and provide a space for innovative thought, powerful connections, and the momentum needed to advance the dialogue on the future of business. Whether you’re joining us in person or online, here are the best ways to follow along:

1. Catch the livestream.

If you can’t make it to San Jose, we’ll broadcast most plenary sessions in a live video feed. Visit the livestream registration page to sign up and watch the plenaries from anywhere in the world.
