Reflections on the Evolution of Human Rights Due Diligence in Supply Chains

By Invitation Only

Join BSR for a multi-stakeholder discussion on the evolution of social compliance and supply chain due diligence in consumer supply chains. This is a closed-door event at BSR’s San Francisco office that aims to create a focused space for BSR member companies to exchange views and learnings on the ways they’ve changed how they manage labor conditions in their supply chain over the last decade and how they expect to do this in the future.

Discussion Questions

  • What is the best way to protect labor rights in the current context?
  • How has human rights due diligence and social compliance management evolved over the last decade? Has it?
  • Are companies more motivated to address labor rights today than ten years ago? What pressures and incentives have been helpful? What has been distracting or harmful?

This is an invitation-only event for BSR members and key stakeholders. Opening remarks will be shared by Sanchita Banerjee Saxena PhD, Executive Director of Berkeley’s Institute for South Asian Studies and Professional Faculty, Haas Business School.
