Preventing and Addressing Gender-Based Violence in Supply Chains

BSR, Fair Wear Foundation, and ETI are pleased to invite you to this event focused on strategies to prevent and address gender-based violence in supply chains. The workshop will provide insights and best practices from brands, stakeholders, and worker organizations on identifying, preventing, and reducing gender-based violence in supply chains.

The event will also explore the roles, responsibilities, and intervention levels of brands, suppliers, governments, unions, and other initiatives, considering how these actors can collaborate to effectively tackle gender-based violence and contribute to transforming gender norms in the workplace. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the latest ILO efforts on a new international treaty to protect workers from harassment and violence, which may be adopted in 2019.
