Policy makers and legislators are increasingly leveraging policy instruments to address modern slavery in business operations and global supply chains. Modern slavery legislation has already been enacted in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and is currently under discussion at an EU-level. In order to best prepare for increasingly rigorous legislation, businesses should take a proactive approach to designing and implementing robust, global anti-trafficking policies and programs.
Join us for a conversation with BSR’s Global Business Coalition Against Human Trafficking (GBCAT) team and members to discuss the current state of policy and regulatory measures around the world, and how businesses are responding to the evolving landscape.
The session will also be an opportunity to learn more about GBCAT, a coalition of businesses committed to combating human trafficking in company operations and supply chains, and how to join this leadership group as a member.
