IPE has been leading the development of a transparency platform in China that consolidates publicly available information on water-loading of pollutants from manufacturers. The platform links high-performing manufacturers with international brands interested in producing products that minimize impacts to the environment; the increased transparency has resulted in fines and, in some cases, plant closures.
This webinar will feature Dell’s latest initiative in China and the drivers behind the company’s strategy to address watershed management issues as part of its supply chain sustainability strategy.
Discussions will focus on why supply chain sustainability considerations are now so important in China, the role transparency has in managing water risks, and the resulting capacity needs for companies working in this space.
