Clean Cargo Working Group Members Meeting

The Clean Cargo Working Group (CCWG) will host a members meeting in Stockholm, providing an excellent opportunity to learn about how participating in the initiative can support sustainable supply chain objectives and global climate goals and contribute to clean oceans and healthy port communities. The meeting will feature lively discussions with CCWG shipper, carrier, and freight forwarder members, including via peer-to-peer best practice sharing sessions, expert analysis of sustainability data, and the latest green shipping trends. 

The focus of the annual June members meeting is to: 

• Discuss the CCWG vision for environmental performance data to 2020 in the context of shipping market dynamics and upcoming regulations by IMO and EU
• Review environmental performance analysis by BSR, our members, and our knowledge partners based on our 2017 data collection and our past eight years of data
• Outline a new member category and methodology for environmental performance measurement of “Roll-on, Roll-off” vessels
• Discuss updates on relevant logistics sustainability initiatives and standardization through Smart Freight Center, U.S. EPA SmartWay, Green Freight Europe, SSI, and more

There is also an opportunity to attend an evening dinner with members and CCWG partners and invited experts. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with current members and regional actors in shipping and transportation.

If you are interested to join the full two-and-a-half-day meeting, we very much welcome your engagement. We request that you contribute a nominal fee of US$150 for one person and US$200 for two people, in order to cover the per person delegate costs including meals.
