Please join us for the upcoming Building Responsibly Forum, an opportunity to explore ways in which industry, government and civil society can work together to advance worker wellbeing in the engineering and construction sector.
Building Responsibly (BR) was founded by a group of leading engineering and construction companies to help improve the conditions on construction sites for workers worldwide. Its work is based around ten Principles which we believe should inform our approach to worker welfare. Current members include Bechtel, Fluor, JGC, McDermott, Multiplex, Saipem, SBM Offshore, Shell, Subsea 7, Technip Energies, TechnipFMC, Tecnimont, Vinci, Wood and Worley.
The work of BR is facilitated by BSR which acts as its Secretariat. BR, one of BSR's prominent collaborations, specifically focuses on advocating for worker rights and welfare in the Engineering and Construction industry. This day-long event will provide a platform for insightful panel discussions on sector trends affecting the Engineering and Construction workforce, with a particular emphasis on Asia; and the afternoon sessions will offer opportunities to explore practical solutions for implementing good worker welfare practices from an operational perspective.
This Forum will also offer your organization an opportunity to provide feedback to BR and its members and your advice and guidance on our future work. We would greatly appreciate your presence at this event and the opportunity to collaborate with you on these important matters.
