Despite increasing awareness of forced labor, the latest Global Estimates of Modern Slavery Report show that 28 million people are still exploited in any given day. 86% of forced labor cases are found in the private sector.
Technology is both a tool misused by perpetrators to unlawfully recruit, groom, and exploit workers, and a promising tool to prevent and address labor exploitation.
Join us at the 2023 Tech Against Trafficking Summit to discuss how technology can be better leveraged to eradicate forced labor and worker exploitation.
The Summit will take place on 15-16 November in New York. It will bring together business, civil society, academia, government, and activists with lived experience who work to create a world free of modern human trafficking.
This is an in-person event and open to BSR members and partners. For more information, please visit the event’s registration page.
