Job description and areas of responsibility
Pandora has taken significant steps in recent years to strengthen its performance on sustainability throughout the business. In 2020, Pandora announced its commitment to source only recycled gold and silver for all products by 2025, and this summer we announced a new industry-leading climate change strategy that aims to reach net-zero by 2040, including a 50% reduction in our greenhouse gas emissions across our operations and value chain by 2030.
It is essential for Pandora to track its performance against these targets, and to report externally in a credible and convincing way. - In collaboration with Group Finance, coordinate the collection of ESG data and qualitative assertions to be used in quarterly reporting and the annual Sustainability Report.
- Lead the project management of Pandora’s annual Sustainability Report, working closely with all relevant teams to ensure that milestones are met, interdependencies are identified and managed, and that the annual reporting makes incremental progress to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Lead completion of Pandora’s sustainability materiality assessment.
- Track investor/bank ratings and rankings on ESG performance, plan and lead timely and high-quality reporting to investor surveys/questionnaires (in particular S&P CSA, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, etc.).
- Lead responses to ad hoc investor inquiries on ESG performance.
- Update internal sustainability Q&As for stakeholder engagement.
- Support the development and implementation of global employee engagement on sustainability matters, coordinating closely with the Corporate Communications team.
- Update sustainability content for the website and internal channels (intranet, SharePoint, Yammer, etc.).
The position reports to the Director, Corporate Sustainability, in Copenhagen while liaising closely daily with teams throughout Pandora including the Sustainable Crafting and Supply team based in Bangkok, Thailand.
