ESG Program Manager—Data and Reporting

Job Description

The ESG Program Manager—Data and Reporting will serve as the company’s leader on ESG/sustainability reporting and disclosures to investor and customer rating agencies, benchmarking best-in-class methods, monitoring future trends and priorities and recommending enhancements in data collection and reporting methods. 

What you will be doing:

Your goal in this position is to lead the ESG data management to ensure the accuracy and access of ESG data needed by the company’s various stakeholders. You will work closely with IT representatives and subject matter experts across the organization to do so. Also, in partnership with the Director of Investor Relations, this role will serve as a liaison with various ESG rating agencies, building and maintaining those relations on the company’s behalf with an eye towards driving improvement in the company’s ratings.

Who you are:

You have deep knowledge of ESG disclosures and reporting and are a thought leader and partner in this space. You are comfortable with ambiguity in a rapidly changing landscape, have resilience and a passion for this work. You are eager to represent the company with customers, investors and other stakeholders as well as at conferences and events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with various investor rating agencies, including MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, S+P, etc., and have worked closely with Investor Relations, the E, S and G pillar leaders and various subject matter experts
  • Strong knowledge of ESG trends in the ESG ratings and ranking space as employed by ESG investor and customer rating agencies,
  • Strong ability to lead through influence and collaboration, bringing people along on the journey
  • Ability to sort through information and clarify critical paths forward

Your future team:

Through a dotted line reporting structure, the ESG Program Manager oversees a Sustainability Analyst focused on reporting, disclosures and data management.
