Isadora Loreto

Isadora supports BSR’s HERproject. She focuses on the implementation of HERproject programs in Bangladesh, India, and Cambodia.

Prior to joining BSR, Isadora was an associate social affairs officer at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), where she was part of the gender and social inclusion team. In this role, she focused on women’s entrepreneurship and the need to create a gender-responsive environment in the Asia-Pacific region. She has specific expertise in women’s empowerment, gender equality, and inclusive business and she has international work experience with private-sector and consulting companies, NGOs, and think-tanks such as GlobalCAD-Centre of Partnerships for Development; PAU Education; ReSeT-Center for Research on Security and Transnational governance; and No Peace Without Justice.

Isadora holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and Economics with a focus on International Development and Humanitarian Action. Her native language is French, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.
