  • Develop key corporate and brand-supported alcohol responsibility retail and consumer marketing programs based on CSR and Brand strategic plans.
  • Assist Sr. Director with the program and advertising creative development process for all alcohol responsibility related marketing/POS materials and all creative (TV, radio, print, OOH, digital). Assist in the stewardship process in executing the media plan to include planning/tracking/reconciling production, talent/residuals, trafficking procedures and costs.
  • Manage the trimester and priority calendar process and communication. Direct management of the outside agencies/Staples. Manage special order programs and materials for special events (ie, All Star Games, Operation ID Retailer programs, etc)
  • Manage Wholesaler CSR cent per case program and execution with Sales.
  • Manage the analysis of all CSR programs including use metrics, element mix offering, cost, design execution, etc. in order to provide on-going process and program improvement. Includes assessment of agency performance.
  • Direct management of the CSR Alcohol responsibility Program Development budget
  • Program development lead with brands and outside agencies for brand and corporate CSR programs to include development, and execution of POS, merchandising and branded products for the entire alcohol responsibility portfolio.
  • Assist in the creative development process by helping write creative briefs, participating in agency creative sessions, attending photo shoots/recording sessions, reviewing ad roughs, etc. Work with Ad Services to ensure production, talent/residuals, trafficking protocols are accounted for, tracked, paid.
  • Manage the priority calendar process for all of CSR (Alcohol and Environment) with Trade Channel Marketing, the trimester planning/execution/buying process for POS and PPG, PAL stewardship, Branded Products catalog, and the budgets that accompany these initiatiaves. Direct the communication of these programs via BSN, ABMARKETING.com to GEO, Wholesalers, Field Sales.
  • Manage the CSR area on ABMARKETING.com, handle presenting the CSR overview for new hires, interface with BSN on video needs for all of CSR. Assist Director, CSR Environment with trimester, special order projects.
  • Manage CSR marketing program budget.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required, Marketing focus preferred
  • 5+ years of marketing/sales experience across a broad background (sales promotion, geographic marketing, advertising agency, sports marketing, brand marketing, digital marketing). Agency management preferred (RFP’s, creative direction, event creation & execution)
  • Exceptional project management skills required. Ability to multi-task and problem solve is a must.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills required. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and external groups using various types of media.
  • Creative thinking and influence skills required.
  • Beer/alcohol beverage industry knowledge and media industry exposure preferred.
  • Strong strategic, analytic, financial and consumer research skills required.
  • Firm understanding of selling process, retail environment and wholesaler distribution network preferred.
