Like many industries today, healthcare is grappling with a complex mix of abrupt shocks—including regulatory volatility, trade disputes, and rapid advances in AI—and ongoing transformations caused by intensifying climate impacts and evolving patient expectations.

Sustainability leaders now face competing pressures to meet near-term operational demands and shareholder expectations that differ across geographies while protecting long-term commitments to equity, climate action, and innovation. To navigate this turbulence, sustainability leaders need strategic clarity, adaptability, and foresight.

This closed-door BSR member-only session offers a confidential space for healthcare sustainability peers to exchange insights, reflect on shared challenges, and explore strategic foresight tools designed to anticipate disruptions and sharpen decision-making.

Meghan Grever, Associate Director, Consumer Sectors and Transformation, BSR

Meghan supports BSR’s member companies within the consumer products sector. She focuses on healthcare and food, beverage, and agriculture.

Prior to joining BSR, Meghan worked in pharmaceutical advertising, managing strategic marketing activities for new-to-market products, emerging therapies, and well-established treatments for various medical issues. She also consulted for the Food and Agriculture Organization on strategic messaging and communications for programs focused on bolstering sustainability and practical solutions in food value chains via the reduction of food loss and waste. She also interned at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, where she focused on climate mitigation and reporting transparency.

Meghan has an Executive Master in Sustainability Leadership (EMSL) from Arizona State University and a BA in Communications (Journalism) from Temple University. She is a US Green Building Council-certified TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and has a Sustainable Resource Management Certification, accredited by the National Standards Board of the National Recycling Coalition.

Cecile leads BSR’s global healthcare practice, working with companies to advance practices and develop innovative solutions and tools that create long-term value for business, patients, and society. She also collaborates with French and European member companies across industries to integrate sustainability in their core practices, build resilience, and embrace sustainability as a source of strategic advantage.

Since joining BSR in 2012, Cecile has held a variety of positions and advised companies in healthcare, consumer sectors, and beyond. More recently, she served as Head of People and Culture for four years, leading a global team focused on attracting and hiring the best and brightest talents and making BSR an inclusive place, where people can grow, develop, and thrive.

Prior to joining BSR, Cecile served as director for SGS Sustainability Services, where she developed service offerings for sustainable supply chains. Before that, she was executive director of SFSTP, one of the largest associations of industrial pharmacists in Europe. She started her career in the chemicals industry, working for Clariant in the UK and Canada.

Cecile holds an MBA from Toronto Metropolitan University, a BSc in Chemistry and Business Administration from Kingston University London, and a Life Science degree from University of Angers. She speaks French and English.

Jacob Park, Director, Sustainable Futures Lab, BSR

Jacob leads BSR’s Sustainable Futures Lab, a new practice using strategic foresight techniques to help businesses engage with emerging issues that are reshaping the global landscape.

Before joining BSR, Jacob was the lead futurist in the New York office of Forum for the Future, where he used scenario planning and other futures techniques to develop sustainability strategy and drive innovation for leading businesses, foundations, and multistakeholder groups. Prior to that he worked at Adaptive Edge, a boutique strategic foresight consultancy, on collaborative scenario planning. Jacob began his career doing human rights research and advocacy at Human Rights First and the Center for Economic and Social Rights. He speaks English and French.

Jacob holds an M.B.A. in Sustainability from Presidio Graduate School and a B.A. in History from the University of Chicago.
