Emilie Prattico

Emilie leads BSR’s engagements on climate change for the EMEA region, including partnerships with grant funders, public-sector bodies, and members in key industries.

Her expertise informs BSR’s climate strategy by including short-lived climate pollutants as a powerful lever for curbing emissions with benefits on health, development, and air quality. She leads research seeking solutions within the finance sector to deepen corporate investment in climate action.

Previously, Emilie worked as a consultant with local governments in California on climate-action strategies and private-sector stakeholder engagement on climate policy planning. She has worked with the transportation, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors on supply chain sustainability and climate impacts. Emilie teaches as a university lecturer in philosophy and sociology. She speaks French, English, German, and Italian.

Emilie holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Northwestern University, an M.S. in Management and Sustainability from HEC (Paris), and a B.A. in Philosophy and Theology from the University of Oxford.
