These scenarios are based on findings from a BSR research process that engaged with thought leaders around the world. The report describes key forces and uncertainties that are likely to influence the form and pace of ecosystem services uptake, including consideration of social, technical, economic, environmental, educational, and political trends.
By issuing this report, BSR hopes to start a discussion about the uptake of ecosystem services concepts and frameworks over the coming years, with a focus on implications and pathways forward for the private sector.
