Nine leads BSR’s double materiality practice, working closely with companies to translate regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations into clear, decision-useful outcomes.
She supports organizations across sectors on sustainability strategy development, including goal-setting, governance, and integration into core business processes, with a particular focus on financial services. Her work helps companies prioritize the most significant sustainability risks and opportunities and connect strategy, reporting, and implementation in a practical and credible way.
Prior to joining BSR, Nine worked in PwC’s sustainability services practice, advising multinational companies on sustainability strategies and performance. Her experience includes supporting organizations in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into business strategy, as well as auditing social and environmental data. Nine is a One Young World ambassador and brings a strong analytical and collaborative approach to advancing impactful and accountable sustainability practices.
Nine holds an M.Sc. in Food Safety Law from Wageningen University and an L.L.M. in Law from the University of Amsterdam. She wrote her master’s thesis at the University of Cape Town, focusing on food innovations for local farmers.
