Data Interoperability and Sharing: Creating a Data Ecosystem to Address Forced Labor in Supply Chains

Event Resources
Presentation

BSR and Tech Against Trafficking kicked off a new project focused on the interoperability and sharing of forced labor data in supply chain management. The project aims to make recommendations for building a stronger supply chain data ecosystem for labor rights.

Against this backdrop, TAT is hosting a policy workshop to share and discuss preliminary findings and recommendations from the TAT assessment on technology and supply chain management, clarify the role of regional governments, policymakers and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) operating locally in applying data connectivity principles to enhance traceability of supply chains, and facilitate the implementation of such data connectivity principles. The meeting will be held under Chatham House Rule, which means that while the insights from the participants will be used, quotes will not be attributed to specific companies or individuals.
