Fengyuan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate environmental strategy, climate change policy, and project management to BSR. As a Manager in Advisory Services, he applies his sustainability expertise to a variety of organizations and issues ranging from low-carbon supply chains to water conservation and stewardship. Fengyuan is now leading BSR’s Climate and Energy work in Asia, including the Supplier Carbon Performance initiative and strategic development of regional climate and energy opportunities on the Partnership Development side.
Prior to joining BSR, Fengyuan worked at the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau, where he managed international environmental cooperation projects with a wide range of environmental groups and business organizations. He also performed scientific research at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology on best practices to assess performance and progress in eco-developments in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, China.
Fengyuan holds an M.A. in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. Fengyuan is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
