Eligibility and Dues

Any company that’s committed to improving its sustainability performance is eligible to join BSR. Membership can be initiated at any time, and dues are renewed annually based on an organization's operating budget.

Corporate Members

Corporate membership dues are based on a company’s total consolidated annual revenues for the most recently completed fiscal year for which audited financial statements are available, per the table below.

Associate Members

Please note that the Associate Membership is only available to companies with annual gross revenues of less than US$1 billion, or to non-company organizations (e.g., NGOs, nonprofits, and academic institutions). Please refer to the member benefits comparison matrix page to compare Corporate and Associate membership benefits.

  • Associate Membership is available only to companies with annual gross revenues of less then US$1 billion, or to non-company organizations (e.g., NGOs, nonprofits, and academic institutions).
  • Associate membership annual membership dues are US$3,000.
  • BSR retains the right to review associate member candidacy to ensure that membership is mutually beneficial for the entity, BSR, and BSR's member companies.
