Norah leads the Global Talent and DEI functions at BSR as part of the People and Culture team.
Norah is responsible for developing and executing a best practice talent management and DEI strategy to ensure that BSR attracts, retains, and develops diverse talent in an inclusive working environment. Norah strongly believes People and Culture teams are the conscience of an employer and have a duty to ensure the best possible quality of work in the best possible environment, allowing employees and their communities to thrive.
Prior to BSR, Norah worked across a variety of human resources (HR) roles in Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility, HR Consultancy, and most recently as an HR Business Partner. She has delivered projects such as social mobility recruitment programs, DEI strategy and implementation, organization design, talent development and succession planning. She has also lived and worked in Senegal, assisting a local NGO specializing in early-year education.
She holds a MA in Geography from the University of Glasgow, a MSc in Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University, and is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
