Luciana focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, human rights, and sustainable finance across the energy and extractives, industrials and utilities, and financial services industries.

Before joining BSR, Luciana worked as a manager in the sustainable development department of EY, where she provided consulting services on CSR strategy. This included assisting companies on their response to sustainable investment questionnaires, verifying consolidated CSR information from companies’ reports, and conducting due diligence procedures on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) activities of investment targets. Before that, Luciana worked for five years at Vigeo, a socially responsible investment rating agency, where she acted as the manager of Vigeo’s food and health cluster and as the head of the human rights research team. She speaks French, English, and Portuguese.

Luciana holds a M.A. in CSR from the University of Paris-Dauphine, a M.A. in International Affairs from the University of Paris XIII, and a law degree from the Federal University of Alagoas in Brazil.
