Ayesha Khan

Ayesha works with BSR member companies across industries in human rights and technology.

Prior to BSR, Ayesha worked with the United Nations Global Compact, the UN’s special initiative on corporate sustainability, where she advanced business adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals in more than 70 countries. She also worked with the Yale-Wikimedia Initiative on Intermediaries and Information on digital rights issues.

Ayesha began her career in India, where she practiced commercial law before transitioning to a career in international development, which included work with the World Bank, the International Labour Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, and the University of Chicago. She currently serves as a Vice-Chair for the American Bar Association’s International Human Rights Committee.

Ayesha holds an LLM in International Law from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a law degree from the National University of Juridical Sciences in India. She is fluent in English and Hindi and is conversational in Urdu.
