This year’s BSR Conference, taking place November 4-6 in New York, will explore how transparency provides critical information for business to achieve the transformation that will deliver a truly sustainable economy, and how companies can manage the challenges inherent in a fully transparent world.

We are thrilled to announce our initial confirmed plenary speakers—business leaders who are accelerating sustainability progress with their vision and action. They consider short-term thinking a detriment to long-term achievements, and have launched profound initiatives around transparency, environmental sustainability, human rights, and emerging markets.

One of the most powerful women in business, Indra Nooyi, Chairman and CEO of PepsiCo, is also the chief architect of Performance with Purpose, PepsiCo’s promise to do what’s right for the business by doing what’s right for people and the planet.

Karl-Johan Persson, Managing Director and CEO of H & M Hennes & Mauritz, runs the world’s second-largest fashion retailer with an uncompromising long-term approach to running the company’s day-to-day operations.

Nils S. Andersen, Group CEO of A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, led an internal transformation process soon after assuming his current role and has steadily increased the group’s transparency and communication with stakeholders.
