#Transport and Logistics

It is clear that relying on individual actions alone is not enough to effectively reduce corruption risks in the supply chain, which pose serious legal, competitive, economic, and ethical challenges to companies doing business around the world.

Recently, several industry or project-specific collaborative approaches to addressing supply chain risks have emerged to help companies to raise their standards, engage with authorities to address the root causes of corruption, and develop tools that reduce competitive risks.

This webinar will present the concept of collective action and its value to global companies through two collaborative approaches. BSR's Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) is a global business network working towards a maritime industry free of corruption. The Center for Responsible Enterprise  and Trade (CREATe) has developed a new approach for intellectual property and corruption prevention protection for companies and their global supply chains.

Speakers

  • Pamela Passman, President and CEO, CREATe
  • Travis Winslow, Director, Ethics and Compliance, Carnival Corporation & plc, and Chairman, MACN
  • Angie Farrag-Thibault, Director, Collaborative Initiatives and Transport and Logistics, BSR
