In cooperation with leading global partners, the Green Electronics Council’s Emerging Green Conference is the premiere international conference in 2015 focused on electronics and sustainability. During its comprehensive three-day program, Emerging Green will explore sustainability issues throughout the lifecycle of electronics. With support from Title Sponsor UL Environment and Presenting Sponsor TÜV Rheinland, the Conference will provide global technology and procurement leaders an opportunity to discuss the advances, challenges and role of electronics in the circular economy.

Through panels, presentations, and plenary sessions, Emerging Green will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities electronic products present to a circular economy. Among the myriad topics are managing scarce, precious, and high-impact metals throughout the electronics eco-system; closing the loop worldwide; water and carbon footprints throughout the supply chain; and supply chain social issues. Speakers and attendees will represent industry, NGOs, consultancies, government, researchers, recyclers, and others.  This mix of perspectives and voices will make Emerging Green 2015 a uniquely interesting and engaging experience.

Emerging Green is organized by the Green Electronics Council, a nonprofit organization founded to inspire and catalyze environmental leadership throughout the lifecycle of electronic technologies. GEC is best known for its flagship EPEAT program, the definitive global rating system for greener electronics.
