#Climate Change

One year ago, BSR launched our Business in a Climate-Constrained World initiative, which seeks to mobilize our business network, global reach, industry insights, and issue expertise in support of sustained business action on climate change.

Since then, we have embarked on an exciting journey with our member companies and partners to advance ambitious mitigation and adaptation solutions in keeping with a 2°C pathway.

On April 22 we invite you to join us at the UN Foundation in Washington, D.C., to discuss how the private sector is advancing climate solutions in the lead-up to the COP21 climate talks this December in Paris.

We will also launch a new report: “Business in a Climate-Constrained World: Creating an Action Agenda for Private-Sector Leadership on Climate Change.”

During this event, we will explore:

  • How companies can reduce emissions and build adaptive capacity at the scale needed to stay within a 2°C temperature rise
  • What opportunities exist for the private sector to collaborate more closely with governments and civil society to advance climate solutions
  • How business can engage in the COP21 process in the lead-up to Paris?

We hope you will join us and representatives from business, government, and civil society to explore these questions and advance business action on climate.

This event is hosted by the UN Foundation and supported by CERES.
