BSR is a partner of the fourth biennial Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016, one of the world’s largest conferences on sustainable fashion.

On May 12, 2016, the fashion summit will—under the theme of “Responsible Innovation”—gather more than 1,200 international key players from the fashion industry, as well as experts, NGOs, opinion makers, media, and politicians to catalyze a discussion on the evolution of a successful fashion industry in a world where new business models are required to tackle the growing sustainability challenges faced by the planet and society.

Speakers include H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who is also patron of the summit; Vogue’s Suzy Menkes; EU commissioner for industry Elzbieta Bienkowska; and legendary fashion entrepreneur Renzo Rosso. Other names include Nadja Swarovski, executive board member of Swarovski; Vanessa Friedman, fashion journalist at The New York Times; and Rick Ridgeway, vice president of public engagement at Patagonia, as well as the heads of sustainability from H&M, Kering, G-Star, Levi Strauss, and more.

Elisa Niemtzow, Director of BSR’s Consumer Sectors practice, will lead a panel discussion on “Making Luxury More Sustainable: Drivers, Challenges, and Solutions” and share lessons and best practices from BSR’s work, including our collaborative initiative Luxury Working Group. The session will also include representatives from LVMH, Kering, and Vivienne Westwood.

Held at the Copenhagen Concert Hall, the summit will be hosted by model and actress Amber Valletta and fashion journalist and new host of CNN Style, Derek Blasberg.

A special 30-percent-off discount is reserved for BSR Members who register before April 22, 2016. Please email us at EventRSVP@bsr.org to get the discount code.
