BSR is a supporting partner of the Business & Climate Summit, taking place May 20-21, in Paris at UNESCO Headquarters.

Responding to the UN Secretary General’s call for the private sector to take an active role, leaders of major businesses from around the world will gather at the Business & Climate Summit in Paris to exchange with policy makers on the best ways to deploy low-carbon solutions at the right scale and pace. Business is ready to play its role in meeting the climate challenge.

Two hundred days before COP21, this two-day meeting will address critical questions: How to close the gap between business and politics? What are the long-term targets? How can we finance the low-carbon economy? Can we agree on pricing carbon or flexibility mechanisms? Can we imagine worldwide frameworks?

The cornerstone event of the Climate Week Paris (taking place May 18-22), the summit will focus on how to work together toward a low-carbon, prosperous, and safer future for all.
