As the Sustainability Impact Profit & Loss Senior Manager, you will work to develop, integrate, and drive improvements for social and environmental impact across the enterprise. Collaborating across the global enterprise, you will play a critical role in integrating the impact P&L to Target’s financial P&L to imbed responsible purchasing practices into teams. Leveraging your detail oriented and analytical skills, you will support pilots, integrations, and system build outs. Applying your experience to drive the integration of sustainability directly into business practices - from process to goal-setting, this role offers the opportunity to both build and implement sustainability at a Fortune 50 company!

About you:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of direct sustainability experience, may include enterprise sustainability measurement, optimization of sustainable design or sourcing, or integration of sustainability into core business practices.
  • Fosters collaborative environments with internal and external partners, including engagement, implementation, and learning strategies
  • Ability to distill insights & analytics into succinct action plans for teams, driving positive impact
  • Thrives in creating structure in ambiguous situations
  • Are comfortable working in new and complex fields with a humble curiosity
  • Respects, appreciates, and is curious about differences related to working with others; committed to fostering an inclusive team


  • Advanced degree in sustainability, social impact, or sustainable finance
  • Experience working with global teams/business partners

This position may be eligible to be virtual based (also known as full-time remote) or could be ‘Flex for your Day’, a hybrid model where the team member has some flexibility to choose how and where they work to maximize their productivity and well-being, based on Target’s needs. Most of Target’s HQ team members work ‘Flex for Your Day’ with a blend of virtual work and onsite at a Target HQ location. Team members work with their leader to determine how the role, team, partners and business determines the flexibility. For team members who work virtual based, they enter into a work arrangement that means the team member works full-time from home or a non-Target location, and do not have a workstation at their assigned HQ location, but may travel to a HQ site up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400 to $153,700.
